Meet the people behind the food and service

Glovers Alley, will focus on delivering outstanding food, and first-class service in a beautifully designed space. The design of the restaurant is by award-winning London based Project Orange, led by Christopher Ash. The design concept for the new restaurant reimagines Pullman Class dining through a contemporary lens. Fluid lines and luxurious materials unite both grand and more intimate spaces into an elegant whole. Evocative of the Streamline Moderne style of the 1930s whilst confidently of their time, linings of rich walnut and brass, coved plasterwork and Deco-Pastel leathers define interiors that are both glamorous yet informal.

We make everything in-house.

The style of food will reflect Andy’s signature style of French-influenced elegance whilst developing what he describes as a natural, lighter element to the menu. Andy said “Each dish is designed to use techniques that bring out the best of each ingredient and at the same time keeping the fine balance between light and luxury. We will be following my core philosophy of making everything in-house – except for our butter, which I have sourced from a farmhouse producer, and making use of the whole animal, with the odd exception for the Chef’s Choice Menu which gives me space to get creative.”

He continued “I am thrilled to be leading the team at Glovers Alley Restaurant. We have put together an exceptionally impressive team. I am reconnecting with colleagues in Ireland and excitedly exploring Irish producers. Our menu is in the final stages of development, and we plan to open with a number of Tasting Menus along with an exciting Chef’s Choice Menu. We will also offer diners choices from an Á La Carte Menu.”

Our Wines

The wine list at Glovers Alley is designed to complement Andy’s food, with an emphasis on small artisanal, organic and biodynamic producers as well as mature fine wines from around the World. Guests can choose a bottle from the extensive cellar, or treat themselves to a glass of wine paired to each of the selected dishes from the ‘Classic’, ‘Reserve’ or ‘Grand Cru’ selections.
